Six local Radnorshire CAMRA members made it to the Llanerch Inn , Llandrindod Wells on Saturday 2 February 2025. We managed to get a corner to ourselves by the window and near the fire. The cask beers on offer were the Rhymney Export ABV 5%. It ran out during the afternoon, and unfortunately the barmaid was unable to change the barrel. (Several of those attending noted that the pub was quite busy with lots of customers ordering food with just one front of house/barperson.) also the WPA - Welsh Pale Ale ABV 4.1%, a light beer and a 'Special beer' FLY Half ABV 4.1%, slightly malty. The experience at the pub was good with all the cask beers (when available) in good condition. The convivial chat included tales of one member's recent trip/visit to Ghent in Belgium as well as reminisces about our youth and when and what beers we drank in our teenage years.
