Radnorshire CAMRA members meeting at the Castle Hotel Rhayader April 27th 2024

Chris Charters (Chairman), Dave Gill (Secretary) and David Strachen. visited The Castle at Rhayader. Unfortunately many members couldn't attend on this occasion. The cask beers available were Felinfoel IPA and Rhymney Gold. The Rhymney Gold in particular was in good condition, served by a capable and pleasant barman . The pub interior is an older style than the outside suggests but with too many Sport TV's for an easy Saturday afternoon conversation.

Has anyone got any thoughts on going to The Fforest Inn on Saturday 18th May ? They will have been re-opened for three weeks so hopefully the crowds should have died down. It would be good for the local CAMRA branch to celebrate one of our oldest pubs reopening. Dates and details to be announced.
