Built about 1878, this is a traditional village pub with two rooms. The beer is a rotating selection of polypins, from local breweries, served from the counter and is more likely to be available at weekends. On weekdays, especially during winter, you may not find any real ale. Home made pub grub is available plus curries on the specials board. Roast dinners on Sundays. There are three en suite rooms available. The present owners took over in 1993. Between 1981 and 1993 it was first a craft shop then a restaurant.
